Thread moderation privilages

aside from policy by boards I was wondering if it is possible with the software to grant moderation privilages to a regular user solely for one thread started by that user? In short the ability to delete posts from other regular users. its not a request for a thread here. thanks.

There's no such current ability for this, but the site development forum would be the best place to ask if it's at all technically possible.

This isn't ever going to end up on the development timeline.

The permissions system is incredibly complex and that complexity costs us quite a bit of effort/time/money every time we do any development.

Any changes we make to the permissions code will be to make it more simple, not more complex.
