Communication/Speech Courses

Hello there,

just a couple of threads down I asked about Hospitality Studies and what it's like.

Well I was wondering here is there any courses in Waterford that involve communication/speech/presentations/essays etc. Communication Skills & Critical Thinking were my favorite modules in Multimedia but were only a tiny aspect of the course. I would like to be doing a course though where they are hugely involved and the main part of the course.

Opinions and names of these courses welcome

i might be wrong but i got the impression those modules are used to make up hours. i actually found them useful too even though at first i thought they were a load of sh1te but id imagine they're only used in other courses the same way.

I'm doing the level 7 bachelor of business and in semester 1 you have to give two oral presentations no actual modules based on them.
THEN, in semester 2 we have "Oral Communications". It's just one module and the course isn't too heavily based around it but thought I'd throw it out there.
