There's a chance, that this thread could grow into many pages...and some greedy company could steal some ideas and then say "boards?! Never heard of it...dunno what you're talking about"

But we'll have to take that risk, for a better world. Think open source...

Ok, Ill start off, with what's not really a great idea but I think it would be very lucrative for the company in question.

The idea was simple...Christmas Crackers, brought to you buy The National Lottery.

So, Christmas Day..and you pulled a cracker...and instead of a key ring, or a bottle opener, or a plastic ornament...you get some kind of scratch card where you could win 100k. Happy Christmas eh!

Anyway, I liked the idea, so I emailed the National Lottery.

This was their response:

You could well be on to something there.. However, as all our games and promotions are developed in conjunction with our advertising agency I’m sorry but we will not be able use your idea.

There should be a boards.ie dragons den forum, where boards members propose ideas to the community with the users voting on whether their idea is good or not. If it gets voted through it then goes onto the next stage
