Still no sign of redundancy after 2 years.

I was let go from my job 2 years ago and I still have not received my redundancy. I keep calling my former boss on a monthly basis asking what the story is and I get the same reply; he can't afford to pay the accountant so therefore they're not going to send proof to the Department that I'm owed this money. It's so frustrating!

Has anyone been in this situation before? Is there another route I can take to get my redundancy? What's my next step, if any?

    Thanks in advance.

My bro was in the same boat as you , he went to the citizens advice , they told him what to do ........................his case went to court (i think its nearly normal procedure) , he got a luimp sum payment ,
no nowhere near what he should have got after 12 years of work , but still , it was a 5 figure sum ,

Ridiculous you have been waiting 2 years - you will have to forget phoning your boss and escalate this issue.

He probably got statutory redundancy .... the best you can hope for to be honest.
