    Thinking of a new xbox but dont kow my hotmail password filled out the lost password details but they failed it. I need the number to ring to recover my xbox password and hotmail one does any one know the number to Windows live help line

    Xbox support doesn't deal with LIVE ids.

    AFAIK the only way to reset the password is on this page :
    https://security.live.com/acsr.aspx

    I don't think they have a phoneline.

    They have no phoneline indeed (Imagine working in their callcenter ?).

    Also, don't expect an answer too quick, they have tons of questions to answer.

    They are also quite strict, they will ask you for a lot of information and if you miss 1 or 2 pieces of info it won't work.
