Category D Licence (Bus) Advice

Booked a theory test for category D Licence.

What book should I buy to prepare for this theory test ?
Are there 2 theory test I must pass before I can begin taken Bus driving lessons ? Seen something on the site about another case study test or something... This is all new to me so if someone could tell me in plain english the steps to a D licence that would be very much appreciated.

Also, once the D licence is in the back pocket, is it very tough to get work as a bus driver in your mid-20's and irish ?

You can get the theory test book or even cd-rom which is even better, once you have your theory test passed and have your medical report you can get a learner permit for category D.
Once you have this you can start lessons, which is a four part test called cpc,
Part 1, cpc theory test (2 hour test) E70
Part 2, cpc case studies (2 hour test) E70
Part 3, driving test (1.30 test) E110 Original driving test
Part 4, cpc practical test (.30 test) E32.
So a large layout of money before you can even start work.

Theory test price unknown but ill say = E 40
Medical = E 50
Licence = E 15
Lessons = E 750
Cpc = E 282
Digi card = E 50

So be prepared to shell out at the very least E 1150.
You might need extra lessons or have to retake a test if you fail.
