I picked on of these up from three a couple of months and it worked fine, I've since unlocked it and now I want to use it with an O2 broadband sim.
I changed the apn but it won't connect for me, do you need to change anything else to get it working?

It gets stuck after I press connect all that happens is it says authenticating and then it disconnects.

It might also need a firmware upgrade with a generic connection manager? Google should tell you if there is one. If its unlocked (some 02 dongles aren't locked in the first place) you can use Windows Dial Up networking to make a connection without changing anything.

Edit>did you create a new profile with the new APN and set it as the default one to dial?

I'm using a mac, to connect i'm using the 3connect software, I've used internet and open.internet as the apn,
In the dial string section it says *99#, is that right?
