Mechatronics L8 sligo IT

Hi I am looking to do a L8 degree this year in Mechatronics (part time). Sligo IT are offering the course at 4800 euro. I have heard that it is an unaccredited course (www.iei.ie) but i advertised as a HETAC course. Do these go hand in hand or is this degree worthless? Any help would be accriciated j
