Hello boardsies I've probably never talked to before :)

I'm being a fair strange fecker and getting a blue mohawk, now the issue is I have brown hair, so I've obviously gotta bleach it. So does anyone know how much it costs to get a mohawk bleached or what a good home kit to use is?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ger :)

I don't really know anything about home bleaching kits but I do have some general advice: In the week before you dye, don't shampoo your hair . Shampooing strips your hair and scalp of natural oils. These protect your scalp from irritation while bleaching, and will also stop your hair from drying out. Just thought I'd tell you...

Most chemists stock a loreal pre lightner! I have brown hair now but when I went blonde the last time I used this before the highlighting kit and it make my hair white blonde! The blue would definitly take with that under neath! Funky!! :)

I would definitly get someone to do it for you mainly because you wont be able to see the back of your head. If its just the mohawk V then they'l just have to be really neat with it, you dont want swuiggly lines!

If you have the money to get it done by a pro the first time Id advise it and then when your touching up the roots you can just follow the lines they did. If you dont tho, just tell whoevers doing it to be really neat.

The pack doesnt come with a brush so i would buy one first, you can get a hairdressers bowl with 3 brushes in pound shops for €2! Bargain!!
    Good luck :)

You can get creme peroxide and powder bleach in sallys and mix them - its really simple

Have half large bottles of each going free if you would like them?
