Hi,

In relation to this individual, I was wondering why all the newspapers are always following him and stating what he is doing. Two of the Sunday papers had him as their front page story.

Not for one minute do I believe he is a worthy individual - but - he has served his sentence, and as far as I know completed all of it.

The reason I ask is that a first cousin of mine, female, was murdered at 17 and her killer was convicted of 1st degree murder. We understand this person has been released, but have never seen any such interest in his whereabouts.

I just wonder why the interest is such in Larry Murphy and not others.

Because his court case made front page headlines, RTE reconstructed the crime.
He's called the Beast of Baltinglass by one tabloid and his story sells papers.
It's like the current High Court battle between the convicted husband who killed his wife in their Howth home. Media is always interested in middle class murders.

Also, 1st degree murder is an American term.
But then I don't know the location, just figured it was Ireland

I noticed that on the 31/05/11 edition of the News of the World had Paul Williams photographed alongside Larry Murphy 'confronting' him as he arrived back in Ireland.

Then yesterday's Sunday World (05/06/11) had an article saying Murphy is considering making a complaint to the Garda Ombudsman over the leaking of his flight information to a 'downmarket UK tabloid' or something to that effect.

I guess the Sunday World are still angry over Williams moving to the News of the World.

The tabloids and the Herald (is that a tabloid too?) went way ott on this. They had headings like "women in fear" etc. The guy was being watched 24hrs a day by the Gardai, there was no chance of him doing anything while he was back.

So many missing young women gone missing in ireland in recent years.I have a theory which i'm sure many will laugh at .But i think we have a satanic cult operating in Ireland which goes right to the very elite in our country.People may remember the case of the boy in the attack in Palmerstown on 1973 strange case in which a young 15 boy killed and a 7 your old boy in a satanic method .he offered no explnation for his actions but once bragged to a friend that he was part of a cult and had taking part in a sacrifice killing at newgrange around the time of the winter solstice some months before he killed the boy.
Just why was Murphy kidnapping these woman and if he had'nt been disturbed that night in the wicklow mountains was the woman to be brought to a cult meeting to be killed? and was this the faith of the missing women.
People may remember the case of david lawlor(from the same small town and a childhood friend and schoolmate of larry murphy).A case were a seemingly normal married man and eircom worker kidnapped and killed a neighbour her body to be found weeks later on wasteland near his hound again no explantion offered.
When Murphy and Lawlor were caught and jailed the kiddnaping of the women stopped.
So the question is why the both men given very short jail sentences given no treatment in jail allowed to slip back into society or move abroad?
Is Murphy protecting people??..does his silence protect other cult members ??
Could these members be Politicans??...Judges??..Garda??? Doctors??

oh yes and remember the case of Malcom McArthur

Malcom MacArthur and Irish Attorney General Patrick Connolly.
McArthur Killed two people...a state wide manhunt searching for him and he pops up hiding away in the home of the Irish Attorney General
