Skoda Fabia 2 EPC Light

    Hi,my wife has a Skoda Fabia 2 1.2 htp and recently,when she is idling for a length of time the EPC light comes on.I bought one of those obd readers off ebay to check the error code,but it shows no error code in history,current or pending.
    To clarify,the light comes on about twice a week and goes off after about 4 hours of the car turned off.
    Any ideas where I might look for the fault?

    Any number of reasons could be triggering the fault, from failing coil to an 02 sensor,
    which would be my guess, only a guess mind.
    Get it checked with a reader that will tell you for definite first though.
