Im traveling for a year inc SE Asia, Oz, South America and I figure max I want is 50L with a day pack. In fact prob about 35 L would do but I def want a day pack with it....

    Any tips would be great.

i got a rucksack upstairs in merchants quay a few years ago i don't know the name of shop or if it's still there but they had a good selection, the bag i bought worked fine for me for travelling for 2 years and it's still in good nick.

Hiking or sports shops may do proper backpacks. River Deep Mountain High in Galway, Great Outdoors and Tk Maxx would be good as well.
In Cork there's a hiking shop near McCurtain St, I think Tags is the shop upstairs in Merchant's Quay. There's also Matthew's of Cork, 53 Degrees North and Mahers.

I live in cork and mahers on Oliver plunkett st, and 53 degrees north top of Paul street had the best selection when I was looking at weekend.

My question is do any Irish stores stock osprey or eagle creek wheeled backpacks? I'd prefer to see them before purchasing, if not where's the best online to buy that ship to Ireland?
    Thanks
