Pension - Generali Vision

I've been thinking about perhaps setting up a pension that would be redeemed in 20 years time so that I could retire 5 years before my company pension kicks in. Basically this pension would fund me for the 5 years. It's the first time I've ever taken a look at any of these structured products and I was hoping to get some input for my fellow investors.

I obviously hope that I wouldn't need to rely on either of these pensions, and that some of my own investments would pay off.

So far I've looked at the Generali Vision Plan. The costs are high. Very high.
