European 2012 Qualifiers - 3rd-7th June

We are entering a crucial stage in qualification for the Euro 2012 Championship and it is up to the big teams to fire on all cylinders if they are to secure top spot in their groups. With so much at stake there should be some guaranteed winners in the upcoming games so hopefully it can be a profitable time for us all!

To start things off I am going to have a large bet on a treble of home wins for Italy, Croatia and Russia at 8/11.

Over 2.5 is another market I am hoping to see good returns from.
The Austria/Germany and Belgium/Turkey games look certainties a double of these two is just under 2/1

All 5 results above in an accumulator works out around 4/1 so will have a smaller punt on that too.

I fancy Ireland to beat Macedonia @2.10.

Ireland will be full of confidence after their recent Nations Cup win and those games will have been a good warm up for this game. Granted, a lot of the players who featured won't play but confidence should still be high in the Irish camp.

Robbie Keane is playing well for Ireland and Shane Long is playing great at the moment, so I fancy Ireland to score a goal or two. The Irish team will also know how important this game is if they want to qualify for the European Championship and this will be the last chance to qualify for a major tournament for the likes of Shay Given and Robbie Keane.

Im just havin the one bet on the International football
    Robbie Keane first goalscorer

Deciding on Germany and France double, whether or not to go for the wins @ evens or vary it with the -1 for France @ 3/1. Maybe throw Italy in as well. They've let me down so many times it's hard to commit to putting money on them no matter the opposition.

Belarus have a lot of missing players vs France tonight, 4 of them who played in the 1-0 win away to France in fact including Hleb and Rodinov(their main striker). France are missing a few players too in Alou Diarra, Remy and Mexes but their replacements are more than capable.

France are unbeaten since losing at home to Belarus last September, and haven't conceded in their last 4 matches. Benzema has scored 4 goals in that time too, so if he starts.. gotta fancy him to continue his form.

France win (obviously), -1 and win to nil all look fairly solid bets to consider, Benzema to get on scoresheet too is another one that if he starts you have to fancy.

On top of the bets I already mentioned- Italy,Croatia, Russia treble and overs in a few games I also think their is value in Belgium at 5/4 to beat Turkey. Must win game for Belgium. Turkey without Sahin and also have poor away record. Could also be Hiddinks' last game in charge if he is to go to Chelsea.

France 1-0 and 2-0 at 5/1 and 6/1 respectively look good bets. France's defense has been solid under Blanc.

    Belgium DNB
    Germany -1

Euro 2012 Qualifiers Belarus v France

    Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.57

Euro 2012 Qualifiers Croatia v Georgia

    Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.83

Euro 2012 Qualifiers Austria v Germany

Austria to Score No Goals @ 2.10

Euro 2012 Qualifiers San Marino v Finland

    Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.25

    €2 gets €15.

•The third rule of the Gambling forum is you do not afterpost. The fourth rule of the Gambling forum is you do not afterpost. The fifth rule of the gambling forum…. You get the idea. Afterposting is coming on here telling everybody about how much you won off a 12 fold accumulator. Unless you posted it on the forum beforehand, no-one cares. It’s very frowned upon around these parts.

Rubs people up the wrong way and many of the regulars (including mods) do not appreciate after-timing. If you mentioned your bet beforehand that's grand (I might have missed it) but IF you are actually after-timing, you should post a pic just for your sake. You don't have to do this of course but I wouldn't recommend after-timing again as it is breaking the charter rules.

Can Portugal beat Norway, surprised to see the Vikings on 10 points from 4 while Portugal managed to loose this match-up in the away leg and drew against Cyprus. The odds are pretty mean, 1.33 for the home side.

New coach, looking much better since he has come in. Beating Spain 4-0 was the highlight. Throughly deserved victory.

I think -1 is in with a fair shout @ evens. Going to the top of the table (on goal difference) will be motivation hopefully.

Whats everyone think is the safer bet if any?

Brazil, England, Portugal & Spain all to win 5/1

    or

Ireland, England, Portugal & Russia all to win 4/1

Brazil play Holland Spain play USA.

Tempted with either as i feel England Portugal Spain Russia should all win.

    Brazil and Ireland not sure.

Good victory for Ireland tonight. Good performances from Shay and Robbie in particular.
