Audi A4 '04 front brake pads with sensors

Anyone know where I can get front brake pads, with sensors, in a bricks and mortar shop?

I got a price of 70euro to have them changed, but I'm guessing it will be done without the sensors. Also, by chaging the pads and sensors myself, will this knock off the warning that comes up on the dash?

Will the spurious sensors fit just the same as OEM ones? Should i just buy the pads, and then source the sensors from the dealer?

    Thanks in advance
    Neuro

GSF Carparts in Santry and Tallaght should do them.

The sensors should be built into the front pads and are not something you should have to purchase separately. I've used a couple of non OEM brands of pads on my Allroad over the years and they always came with sensors.

You'll get the pads and sensors in any motor factors. They are just standard VAG group(a4/passat/octavia/exeo) pads, assuming you haven't got an S4/RS4 that is.

If the light is on then you have to change the sensors as they are single use. When you replace them the light will go out by itself.
