I have an LCD TV which I would to connect to a Saorview box. The TV doesn't have HDMI only DVI the only scart is being used by a DVD player. I would think that the DVI would deliver better pq than scart but it does not carry audio?
What I need then is a DTT receiver with analogue R&L output to carry audio to the TV. I am waiting for a response from the manufacturers of the Aldi STB & I believe the latest Walker STB WP120DTP does not have the necessary connections & the older one has some issues such as turning the TV on & off periodically (posted here somewhere). Also what would be the fair price for a HDMI to DVI connecter, I've seen from €12.99 to €55.

    Mmmmm....

If you use one of my boxes with a DVI to HDMI converter on your TV, and a SCART break-out cable to get the audio, you might be in business. See http://www.adverts.ie/540407 for the box. Both HDMI and SCART are active together, so the HDMI can connect to your DVI, and the SCART can provide the audio. If all else fails, you can use the SCART.

You might also look here for your connectors.

    Hope that helps.
