Straffan Wood Estate, Maynooth

    Hey,
I am looking at buying a house in the Straffan Wood estate in Maynooth. I believe there are management fee's for the apartments in the estate, but just wondering can anyone confirm the situation in relation to the houses in the estate? Is there a 'formal' mtce company in place or a residence association looking after grass cutting, general up-keep of the common area's etc....
Any info at all would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Emo :)

waste of money. Poorly built shoeboxes, still overpiced.

Maynooth is still massively overpriced. The very active rental market to students keeps prices high for the older 3-4 bed 1980s estates (which are closer to town).
Straffan wood is just a bit too far to walk into the village regularly.

    Anyways its your money.
