Sligo day-out, suggestion pls?

    Hi,

    planning to go to Sligo tmrow for a day out, any suggestion of where to go, where to eat? thanks

    oh and also, is there a good Chinese restaurant about? any buffet? thanks

    If you play golf head out to Strandhill or Rosses Point,that's a championship course.
    Surfing is great in Strandhill too. There's a Chinese in Strandhill open in the evening,Jade Garden,it's nice. Several nice ones in town,Mandarin Court,Kings or Sakura. Don't think there's a buffet. There used to be one in the Riverside,Pizza Hut is the only buffet lunch I can think of.
    Climbing Knocknarea would pass two hours or so too.

    Eagles Flying if you are anywhere near Ballymote. It's a great day out.

    Lot's of places to eat, most of them on the restaurant thread, no buffets as far as I know.
