From Dreamweaver to Hosting

    Hi, can anyone help me. I have bought a domain and a hosting and have designed a website in dreamweaver, just wondering how do i get it from dreamweaver onto the hosting website? I'm so lost and can't seem to find info anywhere :(

    You can do it via Dreamweaver but it is a horrible process.

    What you should do is get a dedicated FTP - something like Filezilla - which allows you to create a bridge between your computer and the server.

    Your hosting company should have sent you all the relevant details (passwords and ftp address etc). All you do is enter these into Filezilla (file -> site manager) to access your hosting space. From there on in it is just a case of dragging and dropping your files into the correct folder on the server (depending on your host it might be called "web", "public" or something like that.)
