Hi all. Quick question. Nephew has one of these laptops with windows 7 installed. Is it possible to install windows xp instead? Think its a 64 bit laptop.
    Thanks in advance.

It may work...but why on earth would you want to?

You may run into trouble with drivers, since most manufacturers don't make drivers for windows xp any more.

He is a mechanic and needs it to integrate with his garage system. Windows 7 seems to be incompatible with it. All other mechanics have xp on theirs with no problems.
    Thanks

XP will work on older machines, but it's not guarenteed to work on newer ones. Windows 7 has a feature where by it can run a virtual windows XP machine to run such apps. This is what i would do to be honest.
