    It's a lovely jacket-but i've seen nicer for a lot less!
Also I just saw on Powerscourt Facebook that French Connection are having a customer evening this Thursday (I think, i'd need to double check)and there's 20% off everything!! That might help you make up your mind!!

Its nice..its not imo €215 worth of nice.
I've seen very similar jackets in Zara, might be worth a look. I'd be sleeping in it and everything if I paid that much!!

Its pretty, but not THAT pretty! If you have money to burn go for it, if not tho then try warehouse, oasis, A wear or anywhere else not charging that crazy price! :O
Oh to be able to afford to even think about buying a jacket at that cost! :o

Yep its expensive alright, but its lovely and would go with loads of outfits. If you have the money go for it...but as mentioned above you'd get something similar A LOT cheaper. I actually love the outfit its styled with in that photo.

As Azureus says, my first thought was Zara. I have a feeling Topshop might have something as well... it's a heck of a lot of money. That said I feel FC is very expensive and I never think their product is worth the money.

It's a blazer. For €215. Hmmm. Would you be mad to buy it? Yes. I got a plain black blazer in New Look for £25. . . . . . .

If you're going to invest the Reiss ones that Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays always gets pictured in are fabulous .

It's nice but definitely not worth 215 euro! As others have said you should be able find similar for much less in Topshop or Zara

I'm with most people on this - NOT worth the money. It may be very well made and feel wonderful, but it's a big wad of cash!

(of course, if you have that kind of disposable income and you really, really like it - go for it!)

H&M have some lovely pale blazers atm. Theres no way in hell I'd spend 215 on such a basic blazer. I just don't think its worth it. I don't think I could justify spending that much on French Connection either, it might sound like I'm being a label snob but it seems steep for them.

Thanks so much for all the replies....in agreement, seems very steep for a jacket, I will only wear the odd week-end, with three kids, don't get out that much!!! Sure if I hang on, may get a good discount on it next month in the Summer sales!! Thanks for the reality check - needed it!!!

I have seen similar in Zara, Penneys, H&M, New Look for 20/30 yo-yos.

Also, that shade of neutral can be very draining on the complexion too unless you are blessed with olive skin tone like the FC model.

I'm in two minds. It's a nice jacket that would go with loads of things. I could see it with everything from dresses to jeans to skirts because of the style and neutral colour. However, as most others have said 215 is a lot and you could get similar for a fraction of that. Maybe have a look for similar first to see how close you can get to it for a better price. On the other hand, if you can afford it easily and really like it, go for it because I definitely don't think it's something that would sit in the wardrobe unused.
