Definitely, he missed one or two very scoreable frees in the 1st half though.

He did, but to be fair to the lad he kept Offaly in the game when they were struggling badly. It was probably difficult for him given the fact that his father was the manager and there would be the thinking "Oh, he's only getting on the team because the auld fella is over them", but he has become Offaly's most important player.

Also, I think that he was deserving of MOTM yesterday. While Dublin played well overall, they had no stand out candidate like Dooley.

He really had a super day but of course if he has a bad day, then Offaly are automatically in trouble.

Shane Durkin and Conal Keaney were phenomenal yesterday but Shane thoroughly deserved it.

yeah, them 2 players played well for Dublin - as well as Oisín Gough in the corner back position, but Dooley had the most influence on the game.

As a previous poster said, if he was to get injured then Offaly are fúcked.

Good scoring but he missed some ferocious chances. At least 2 close in frees, if he converted them Offaly may have done it. Wouldn't be singing his praises after today by any means.

I agree with that. I was at it. He missed about 1-04 by my reckoning (maybe a bit unlucky with the goal chance Cusack made a brilliant save from him in the first half)
