    Hi folks

I recently completed(almost) my first year in Computing in CIT. All went according to plan except for one subject, Programming fundementals (working on Visual Basic 2010).

In semester 1 i passed this barely and that was only the basics, but in semester 2 i really did stuggle with it.

What i was wondering is, does anyone have any advice on what I can do to really learn this language. Im very motivated to do this but if anyone can shed some light on a few tips to make it easier, or have any sites that they found helpful when learning it, it would be greatly appretiated.

    Thanks

I've done a few semesters of VB.NET, what exactly are you aiming to achieve; is it a language you wish to get really deep into or are you just looking to pass the subject? The one thing about learning how to program/script is that you would get a lot further a lot faster if you actually enjoy it, so just to get an idea of where you're at would be good.

The second question is, are you using VB for application development or web development, or both?
