I thought it was just to give you a flavour of what's available across Sky i.e. the content can (and does) change.

I've actually disabled the service. It records way too much content I don't have access to anyway (e.g. Sky Movies).

It's quite normal - they put the fist couple of eps of NEW shows on Anytime but no more - if you like the show after the first 2 eps, you know where to go to watch the rest of it.

They usually put the first ep of a new season on too in case you didn't realise a show had returned . . .

It's consistent in its inconsistency! When Boardwalk Empire was on they also showed the first episodes and then nothing. I had actually asked them on Twitter whether all the episodes would be on Anytime and they said yes. Of course could have been Anytime + or UK only but no more episodes appeared. All the episodes were on Sky Player.

It does seem to always have the new Friday Sky premiere movies and I've noticed lately a lot more Sky news recap type programs. I think it is supposed to be loosely based on what you have watched previously and what you may be interested in.

It's just to hook you into new shows really (hence why they only show a few episopes). If you like it enough, I guess they want you to add it to your Sky+ planner.

they usually add other milestone episodes like the last of the series etc

the arrival of sky anytime+ will apaprantly eventually lead to a lot more 'on demand' options
