    Hey,

I finished up at my job around 2 weeks ago. As we get paid by the month, they said my p45 will not be sent to me until after my final payday, so I will not will receive it until around mid june.
I was planning on applying for jobseekers benefit today, but is this possible without the p45?
Do I have to wait until I get it to submit my application?

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Just ask your old employer for a letter to confirm you were let go and bring that to the SW office, then bring your p45 to the SW office when you get it

As said above, also your claim starts from the day you sign on even if you dont have all the necessary paper work.
