    lads if I want to make a complaint about competition that does be on the airwaves whom do I direct the complaint to

    I would start by going to the station itself, if you get no joy try the BAI

    In fairness, Ian Dempsey and Ray D'Arcy always make an eejit of themselves with the competitions! The radio station even have a promo for it: "Made a balls of the competition yet?". It's only a bit of craic :)

    You need to make your complaint to the station first. Under the new BAI complaints regime, every station has a Code of Practice or complaints procedure detailed on their web site. Just read the procedure, download the form and fill it in.

    You could also try ringing/emailing the station and express your complaint first. They might be able to explain things to your satisfaction.

    What was the problem with the competition - I suggest avoid naming or identifying the station or the prize
