    Hi

Will be in Dunmore East for a few days soon and was wondering could anybody recommend any routes, road, grass or trail would be ideal. If anybody has maps or garmin connect links they want to post or PM to me they would be very much appreciated. I don't mind traveling a bit by car if a good trail is close by but would prefer to run straight from the front door.

I made the mistake of not sussing out running routes last year when I holidayed in Ireland and the week turned into a disaster running wise. Any Deise boardsies who are up for a run let me know.

    Cheers

Hi, I'm not all that familar with running in the Dunmore area, but you could try this route, just beware, the road is quite narrow, and there a few blind spots. Road Route - http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/18363344

or maybe head out to Faithlegg, for a trail route (not sure of the distance) http://www.coillteoutdoors.ie/?id=53&rec_site=31

If you don't mind driving a bit, you could head out to Tramore (15 mins drive). Go from the Ladies Slip (first slip by O'Shea's hotel, down the prom, and cross onto the back strand/trail, around the sandhills, cross over back onto the back strand/trail and back down the prom and onto the beach, back up the slip, plus couple of laps of the car, should see you 6 miles.
