Hey guys, since flashing any custom ROM (currently Leedroid 3.1.0) I randomly get force closures for different apps.

I've already tried fixing the system permissions in ROM Manager. Anybody got any ideas?

I was having probs with a particular app in every Rom til I put the official 2.3 on it, so far no issues. There's a good guide on xda-dev, i had my HD wiped, HTC unlocked, sim unlocked & got the ota 2.3 all in less than 30 mins

I just posted on this in the "Decent Tablet" thread

I've actually moved back to LeeDroid as of last night because of similar issues with CoreDroid 6.6 - in my case it was Force Closing whenever I received a call.. the version before that force closed when an MMS came in etc... :(

As I said in that thread, fair play to the devs for doing this work but it seems most of them are too busy racing each other to the next new feature than taking time to do a bit more testing and it's starting to get very frustrating at this stage.

The only thing I can think of is if you're doing a full wipe each time you switch ROMs? I do but it doesn't always seem to help but they do recommend it...

I think I fixed a similar issue by using an option in Rom Manager to fix permissions.

I tried fixing the permissions but it didn't work. A friend of mine suggested something on Facebook that seems to have worked so far.

I reboot into clockwork recovery and cleared the davlik cache and battery stats. Seems to have cleared up the problems. You guys might wanna try this too :-)
