The Rosary is an amazing prayer, and this devotion and is not understood widely enough by those who don’t practice it.

While Marian in nature, the Rosary is at heart a Christocentric prayer which is highly recommended by the Church. Its value flows from the fact that, at the same time, it is a vocal prayer and a meditation of the mysteries of our salvation.

"The Rosary is the compendium of the entire Gospel" (Pope Paul VI quoting Pope Pius XII).

"There is no surer means of calling down God's blessings upon the family . . . than the daily recitation of the Rosary" (Pope Pius XII).

"No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary: either they will give up sin or they will give up the Rosary" (Bishop Hugh Doyle).

“The greatest method of praying is to pray the Rosary.”(Saint Francis de Sales)

“When the Holy Rosary is said well, it gives Jesus and Mary more glory and is more meritorious than any other prayer.” (Saint Louis de Montfort)

am not the best at the rosarie .
but it IS the best protection in the times that we are approaching, the tribulation etc , Mary;s imacculate heart is a true refuge , mind yu St,Michael The Archangel will also be a prominant biblical figure in these times too, God the Father rewarded ST.Michael with the duty as guardian of paradise . protecter of christians in the end times and guardian of the blessed sacrament and the church and the Pope and the souls in purgatory so for me - 3 prayers Rosary, Divine Mercy and Prayers to St.Michael The Archangel :)

Yeah I aim to say the Rosary everyday, however, I have become a bit lax in recent times. :o

There's also the total consecration of St. Louis Marie de Montfort - I have the book but have not done the consecration yet.

The one question that always haunts me regarding the virgin birth is why choose a miraculous birth that could be questioned, people will say yes there was a Jesus but was she really a virgin ? , is that fair on Mary to have her reputation impugned , understandably no doubt but still, why not have a truly miraculous birth where there is no doubt. Now some might find offense in this but they shouldn't as all creatures are Gods creatures, why not have Jesus conceived by a cow or a sheep, there would be no question of the miraculousness of the birth nor the mothers character.

Our Lady, the Mother of God, was the perfect ark for our Lord.

This is a thread about devotion to Our Lady, I would respectfully suggest you open a thread concerning doctrine if wish to debate such issues.

What does perfect ark mean ? in a biological sense the perfect mother is one who can give birth to a perfectly healthy child, which is a large proportion of living female organisms, unless you feel the moral standards of the mother can impinge upon the child, that a mere human female with human failings could sully an omnipotent creator of the universe God, if thats the case it would reflect more upon God than the mother.

I have statuettes of her all over my house :o I could be reading or playing the xbox or the piano or something and look up and see a statuette, and fall into a sort of reverie, thinking about her.

If Our Lady was good enough for God, she's good enough for me.

I am a devotee of Our Lady, and pray the Holy Rosary every day, along with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I have had many prayers answered through her intercession - I love her!!

Your own opinion would be nice, instead of a bunch of rhetoric just copied and pasted.

That is my own opinion, and the bible is not a 'bunch or rhetoric', nor is the early church.

“Catholicisim could not exist without a Marian character,” Pope Benedict XVI told a visiting German delegation on May 28. The Pope added that he had realized at an early age that “being Catholic meant belonging to Mary.”
