So is a lot of the boards populace typical sun reading white van man?
Never occurred to me but now that I look at some of the posts recently I have had to suspend my decision.

OP - I had a re-read of your opening post and think I now know what your trying to say.

Boards.ie varies from day to day.

If a journalist popped his/her head in tonight, they might be right in thinking there is questionable folk/mentalities about.

There is a lot of VERY clever, informed and wise people on boards.ie - there is a normal broad spectrum.
Some days or nights (clearly) some posters let us down in regards portraying a decent average of citizens around.

Sadly thats life - and the bigger fools would think one small bunch of tools, is like the rest of us!
They would be wrong.

I thought this post was going to be about fear of (alleged/suspected) criminals driving white vans! I think that the 'red top' newspaper brigade can be identified by the amount of swearing and offensive language used in some of the posts. What really counts is that Boards enables discussion with a diverse group of people who would not normally get together. If people want an exclusive members club, they don't have to join in.

Poster replies to OP sensation!!!

In a shocking turn of events today on Boards.ie a poster who can't be fully named because of a Superdyduperdy injunction has replied to the opening poster on the thread! Mr GuiXX quoted the OP and wrote a short reply, making no sence at all really. When asked about this Mr XXill said that he thought he was being funny, but probably not. The OP has yet to reply.

Maybe gone a bit sensationalist alright...

I'm Cormac and I'm a white van man... I was very confused reading the first post

I've never bought any tabloid other than the evening herald when my brother and friend where we went around to every shop buying as many as we could to enter a "collect the points" competition. We cut out the tokens and gave the papers away for free and ended up winning the camcorder we set out to win worth about £800 at the time for about £70 investment
