For a christening, Id probably stick to a nice nude platform with that dress to keep it a little more understated.

In general, I would probably go for either a bright pink or bright yellow heel with that dress-colour blocking is all in and I love clashing with those kind of bright dresses :)

I have both a nice nude heel and I have bright pink, to be fair it's a very close family christening and we all wear quite bright colours in general, so wearing the pink ones wouldn't really make me stand out! I'm a very matchy matchy person, which is why I was a bit...wary of trying to pick a colour because I will invariably try and match it! But you think either of the nude or pink would be nice with it in general?

Yep, personally I would go with the bright pink if you're not worried about standing out-especially seeing as its summer. I dont like matchy-matchy, especially with that vibrant a colour you would have to get blue tones bang-on otherwise it'd look sloppy. So go the opposite and clash!

If you go with the pink shoes, I would keep accesories to a minimum aswell-dont go wearing bright pink earrings/necklace aswell or I think it would cheapen the look.

If you go with the nude shoe you can afford to be experimental with accessories although I dont think that particular dress needs it.

    I think it'll look fab :)

Yeah I'd probably just stick with one nice statement silver ring or something with the pink, I would never have thought of them with it, thank you! That's what was putting me off it, I thought i'd never get a shoe to match it so was a bit clueless about what to pick instead.

I ordered the dress now anyway :o Had 20% discount thing and free delivery until 2pm so I thought feck it! :)

    Hi everyone :)

Another one of these threads for you stylish people! I love this dress: http://www.awear.com/closet/blue-cowl-2in1-tie-back-dress/invt/00000270blue/

I am thinking of getting it for my godson's christening in August (as if I need a new dress but meh :)), but I am having a total block as to what shoes to wear with it. I have these: http://i.ebayimg.com/17/!CF,SDe!Bmk~$(KGrHqV,!hcE0ibWGPKFBNV!2D0dUQ~~_35.JPG which have a blue glow/hue to them IRL, so I thought they might be nice to look a bit different and unusual with it, but am open to other suggestions, for colours and for regular non christening wear. Also if anyone had any suggestions of cardigans etc for over it, much appreciated :)

I love love the shoes. Where are they on Ebay?

I actually bought them on amazon, I just googled that pic the last day. They're called Irregular Choice I'm In Vegas :)
