Hi guys, just finishing off a Technical Report for college mobile project
It uses Adobe Flex for mobile, connects to a few PHP pages which access a MySQL database, I had originally proposed to use Rails MVC but I'm unsure what to put in my report now that I changed (why was another matter!)

Could Flex, PHP MySQL be considered MVC or is there another term for this kind of architecture?

Based on your description the closest I'd describe it is as Model View Presenter.
