New to this freeview stuff, but I just wanted to know if the digital receiver in my Pioneer 607XD Plasma will work with an aerial to pick up freeview (incl Saorview) here in Ireland?

If so, is all I need an aerial?

Here's the specs from the 607XD Manual:

Receiving System: DVB-T (2K/8K COFDM)
Tuner VHF/UHF: VHF Band III (170 MHz to 230 MHz) and UHF Band IV, V (470 MHz to 862 MHz)

mmm nice tv..

dont think it will . Try it and see.using a cheep indoor aerial, depends where you are living (strength of signal)
