Hi guys, A family member bought what appears to be an Acekard clone. Its called the Acekard 3 but when I tried to put the latest Akaio firmware on it advised me it was a clone. Is there anyway possible to get this to work on a DSi or do they need to buy a new cart? Thanks.

There is no Acekard 3 for starters, only the original Acekard, Acekard 2 and Acekard 2i (which does the 3DS, DSi, DS/DSL). AKAIO might have a bug in the clone detection relating to particular SD cards from what i've read on GBAtemp but usually it's spot on. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the feature.

    Try the official Acekard software.
