I always get my hair done by the students in Robert Chambers on Liffey Street. I find it grand, personally, but I never really get anything too drastic done to my hair, just usually get it trimmed a bit and all that. There's a professional supervising at all times, and the students can't do anything if they aren't sure what they're doing. This is great, but it can also be very tedious when you're given a student who's just starting and barely knows how to do layers - a lot of waiting around for the professional to come around, etc. It costs me €23 for a wash cut and blow dry, sometimes it's even reduced to €18. You'll get a discount if you have a student card too, as far as I know. I'd recommend it overall, I've never had a bad experience. The only complaint I've ever had was I was given a fringe that I didn't like at all, but that was cut by the professional :P

I'd also recommend Robert Chambers on Liffey Street I've had my hair bleached from black to red with no problems.
