Hi guys, I have a DVB-T Stick from Germany, Fujitsu Siemens, from a few years ago. Is it possible to get it working here in Ireland now with Saorview ?

v easy on media centre in windows 7. afaik, its doable but more complicated in older versions of windows. my stick works perfect with the little whip aerial.

What aerial are you using and are you within range of a SaorView transmitter. Those whip aerials are only useful if you can see the transmitter.

I brought the USB to work ( Sandyford ) and it works perfectly, so its my signal in Kildare thats the issue then.

Need to get a better ariel me thinks to use it at home.

there was a bargain alerts thread a little while ago about these usb dvb-t sticks (i even bought a couple myself) and there was a link to a site showing tests people in various parts of the country had done to get a signal. i can't find it now, but it's definitely in that thread (along with a shedload of other useful info) if you have a poke around.

unfortunately, here in navan i need a roof antenna & a signal booster (neither of which i actually have) to have any hope of getting a saorview signal. :(
