I'm looking for software that will do an hourly backup of files/folders to a USB drive.

Anything free out there that does the job?

I use and swear by syncback pro from:

    http://www.2brightsparks.com

They also have a free version of syncback which is excellent too and I'm nearly sure allows scheduled backups.

    There's also this:

    http://www.gfi.com/landing/bkuphm-backup-software.asp?adv=62&loc=64

Which does scheduling and also backs up in .zip format so you don't need the backup software in order to get at your data.

Syncback also does free zip compression if required:

+1 on this. I use the free version with a scheduled backup to a NAS and it does the job very reliably for about a year now.

    +1 on syncback

I use Fbackup, it's free and very easy to use without compromising on features! It can be scheduled to run as often as you want and I use it to backup select folders to my NAS

It also let's you backup the files as they are, very easy to restore or recover a lost file, or, you can compress them into an fbackup file and use fbackup to restore

Basically, it's the dogs and I would recommend it to anyone. It's also free so happy days

Can't remember the website, on a mobile, google will defo bring it up for ya
