I'm going to Heathrow for a spotting daytrip in June. Have never been spotting over there before. Anyone done it before, and have any tips for the best spots to go to ?

There is very good spotting information on this website. Listing the pros and cons of various viewing points for Heathrow, and exactly how to get there:

I presume you wont have a car with you so you may want to head for the points near the tube. There are lots of free buses around the airport so you could give them a try if you can figure out the route. I've found the staff and police to quite friendly towards spotter so you no harm asking them when you get there.

    Have fun.
