Htc sensation order

Hey just wondering if there is any here who placed an order Thursday evening with vodafone for the sensation ? I did, and have been unsuccessful trying to get the status of my order online, I keep getting an error code. I'm expecting my order to arrive Monday morning seeing as it was ordered on Thursday so hoping someone here is in the same predicament as me.

Vodafones website is brutal. You should get it Monday though

And after a few days of wil I or won't I, I have decided to order the sensation tomorrow. So hopefully I will have it by Tuesday. And hope it's still unlocked too.

I ordered mine late Wednesday evening and go it it Friday. The order status screen only worked occasionally for me (yeah, I kept checking!). If you get an error just try again - it might take a few attempts. But as long as you have your order confirmation email you're grand.

Hey. I ordered my phone on Wednesday evening. I managed to log into the site and check my order, but the thing was permanently stuck on 'processing order.' Phone arrived on Friday morning. So while the website may not be updating, things still proceed regardless. Hope your phone arrives for you tomorrow, MMcS. It's a great piece of kit!

May not necessarily come with the postman,it could be sent out in a van seeing as you have to sign for it. Mine wasn't the standard missed delivery slip you usually get.

Hopped onto Vodafone this morning to order the sensation only to find it saying it was out of stock. After throwing a major wobbler I decided to ring Vodafone in case it was just a mistake. Guy on the other end told me that they aren't being released till Wednesday and that I'll just have to keep trying the website.

Happily for me though the website showed them in-stock again a few minutes after I spoke to him so I managed to order one but I thought I'd post here about what the lad said because It could be the reason you guys are still waiting.

Thanks really hope that is the reason, dying to get my hands on it, not working today so thought I would have loads of time to play around with it, if it comes tomorrow I'm working all day and have a gym assessment tomorrow evening so I won't have long to play with my new phone. Ah well time will tell

It was Thursday evening and was showing up as ready for dispatch on Thursday's date when I checked the status online on Friday but since then I haven't been able to get onto it online to check.

Gonna wait until later this afternoon, it could be floating around the delivery room at work, but usually there is no delay from our lads in here..will give it another hour or two. The An Post delivery has arrived already, got a few letters myself in my office cubby hole, but larger items get hand delivered to us(why i dont know).

Got bored of waiting around so rang vodafone, seemingly some problem with the system on sat and sun so nothing could be processed seemingly, thats why i never got it this morning. Promised me i would have it in the morning, think i will crack up if it doesnt come

Was planning on picking this up Wednesday morning when it is released in stores, anyone got information on if the phone is locked to Vodafone?

Currently with Meteor, no intention of changing to Vodafone but do want this phone.

When I got my original Desire it was from O2 unbranded and unlocked so I'm hoping for more of the same

I ordered mine Wednesday evening and received it Friday morning via registered post. Not sure if it came by van or by postie though cos it came to work. The port just went through today as scheduled during 2 hours window I requested.

And yes - my phone was not locked so I was able to use my existing o2 SIM in it while I was waiting to be ported to vodafone.

Just trying to register online now for my webtexts and all the rest but the site appears to be a total crock of sh!t! Keeps giving me errors when I try to register...

I was in a Meteor shop yesterday and they confirmed it will be available from the middle of next month. I went in to upgrade to the Desire HD but thats out of stock, so I'm gonna wait for this.

sorry if this has already been asked but how much is this phone on contract? i'm with meteor and stuck in contract till oct , will have the desire 18 months then but would love to get my hands on the sensation.

To me it feels and looks huge compared to the Desire but when I put them side by side there is very little between them. The bigger screen makes the Sensation look huge in my hand. Only thing I don't like so far is scrolling through the apps in the menu, you can't stop anywhere you like like on the Desire but it jumps page by page, does not look or feel nice at all. But as you use that menue rarely it's ok I guess. Just trying to get used to the massive look of it. To me the Desire is as practically big as a smart handset should be. If they could pack the Sensation's specs into the Desire's frame I'd swap straight away, the 3.7'' is more than big enough imo.

It's €120 on the cheapest contract.

Vodafone messed up my order. The didn't send out a new connection sim which is what I signed up for. I got a transfare sim instead. Hopefully that can be sorted quickly enough in a shop tomorrow.

Thanks cap'n ... 120e not bad at all!! if i could only find a way to get out of my meteor contract now i'd be sorted:D signal where i'm living is crap anyway so would jump to vf or 02 if i could and get the sensation.

Wont improve your signal, Meteor piggyback on VF signal as far as I know.
