I'd say he'll be sick the day that a 10/1 on double loses him about 150,000. Mind you,he musn't be needing the money if he hasn't withdrawn a penny.
A track suit clad punter putting 8500 down in the centre of London?
Doesn't sound like money the CAB would know about.

This is just cheap publicity for William Hills.

This guy is a superb customer from a bookies perspective.

How can he return to the bookies every day and not withdraw before putting on the next bet?
Can he not afford a phone?
Pure Bullcrap from WH and The Sun.

About 25 years ago when I was living in London, I was working in the Edgware road area of central London. This area had lots of rich arabs living in luxury apartments around this area. One saturday morning I went into a william Hills to do my 50P saturday yankee. This william hills was just off the Edgware road so I went In...........well I never saw a bookies like this before it had A private area for "Selected customers" leather armchairs and sofas and freshly brewed coffee. The girls taking the bets were like page 3 models and had posh accents

I found out later that this shop was where a lot of saudi princes came to gamble and money was no object.

prehaps this guy is a rich prince and just gambles for fun :pac:

A mate was telling me that he was in a bookies in central London last year and saw a guy playing one of those roulette machines, he had over £12,000 in the machine:eek:

Started my own one sunday (which is probably what the bookies hoped would happen) with €25 just to see how long it can go on for doing little accumulators got from 25 to 33 to 51 already.. it seems pretty ridiculous though and think its insane that he hasnt at least taken out 10,000 to cover his original stake by now anyway. Tennis is apparently the most fixed and easiest to fix sport of them all...

    it's fake

and even if it was real, look at March 30th winnings vs April 7th bet, another 4 grand just magically appears.
