Nothing doing so far, and I believe that any methods currently would only be temporary due to the locked bootloader that we're encumbered with currently (subject to change, hopefully).

Another good place to monitor is http://sensation.modaco.com, especially since Paul O'Brien has one in his hands at the minute.

Just a little heads up too, if you've been reading that HTC are unlocking their bootloaders again: that's true. But on 'upcoming handsets' so the Sensation will always be locked.

Is that true? I think HTC will be slated if this is the case as the whole thing was sparked about because of the locked Sensation.
Anyone got any hard evidence about what is true or know where to find them?

Apart from being a massive PR blunder there is zero reason why HTC would keep the Sensation bootloader locked and unlock future phones.

Remeber its also not just the bootloader that is locked, its also kernals and radio and they Htc have not said if these will be included with their "unlock"

So would they potentially release a system update that unlocks it?

The Sensation bootloader is locked. It's been confirmed over at XDA. Sure that and the Evo3D's are locked. The Evo3D isn't even released yet but it's well known that it has a locked bootloader. Actually read the PR Statement by HTC and they don't state 'newly released handsets' or anything of the like.

I don't know anybody would assume that it's unlocked. Everybody already knows that so it's not really a "PR blunder".

Now I'd doubt they would be that nice now, lol. :p

The Evo 3D's bootloader will be unlocked. That was confirmed in email responses by Peter Chou, the CEO of HTC.

Sensation is up in the air right now, I wouldn't be surprised either way.
