Apologies if this is the wrong forum. Mods please move it if it is.

    Just wondering can anyone help.

I have an event happening in Roscommon/Sligo (on the border) in August. All the guests are living in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

I was just wondering does anyone know how much it would be to organise a mini-bus for about 20 people from Bray, Co. Wicklow to Roscommon/Sligo. And then also to return the following day.

And would it be better to organise 1st journey from a company in the east and return journey from a company in the west. Apologies if it is a stupid question, never done this before.

    Thanks.

    There a few main choices.

    1. Get a group booking on a train. DART to Connolly and train to Boyle. Two tickets may be cheaper than one.
    2. Get a group booking on a scheduled coach service. The comfort may not suit everyone.
    3. Hire a coach. Getting a group that is going in the opposite direction on the same day is likely to be difficult, so you are likely to be stuck with hiring from someone on the east coast. Decide how many are willing to travel, what level of comfort you want (toilet on board?) and shop around - get the Golden Pages and start phoning. The driver would need overnight accommodation.

I imagine you are looking at €500+.
