Which software? Digital Professional for editing images or the remote shooting software?

Works fine for FireFox. Did you tick the "I Accept" check box?

Also the download is only an update, the website states:
    Installation
Make sure that at least one of the following applications is installed.
    - Digital Photo Professional
    - EOS Viewer Utility
    - File Viewer Utility
    - RAW Image Task

I didn't even get an "I accept box". Gonna try now again. I should have stated I don't have nay off the other software, I bought my G10 second hand and the software CD was missing, my own fault for not checking items 100% before I parted with my cash.

I appreciate all your help so far.

    Regards
    Darren

Well if you don't have any of the software there isn't too much point downloading from Canon yet. Perhaps a friend can provide you with a solution CD for any Canon camera then update the software to the latest version.

If you're comfortable digging around the registry there are ways to install the updates:

EDIT: Canon Canada to the rescue.
