SAORVIEW question newbie

    My question is.....am I ready to receive saorview telly?

    I have an mpeg4 thingy telly and the set-top box is an Orton 4160 CX Plus
    Conax embedded Digital sattelite receiver?

    From a quick google of the specs, the Orton 4160 CX Plus seems to be a satellite receiver only. This won't recieve the terrestrial Saorview signals.

    What's the make and model of your TV? If it can do MPEG4, sounds like it might do Saorview alright.

    You don't need the satellite receiver for saorview as it comes in via your aerial as do the regular terrestrial analogue channels. Do a new search and ensure you search for digitals channels too.
