Think the trigger contact has decided not to work. Is there anyway to fix this? Gun was bought in MIA about 10-11 months ago. Since then I have had no problems. Reliable as I could have wished for. But I have been told that the trigger contacts are boggy sometimes.
So if its something I can fix with out a return to the shop I'd be very grateful for the help.

As far as I know you can buy the whole electrics part of the trigger system, mwairsoft only have V2 trigger electrics but you can buy them and there not all that expensive.

    EDIT: Found one here

Finnally I think I've got it now.

what company made that G36? all I know is if it has metal frame that attches the motor to the gear box instead of having to use the pistol grip (like an M4) which is a version. version 2's are mainly found in G36's aks and MP5K's

The G36 uses a Version 3 gearbox, the MP5K also uses a Version 3 gearboxand so does the AK and so does the AUG
    The M4 uses a Version 2 gearbox

Version 2 gearboxes are found in M4s. Version 3 are found in G36c's, AUGs and AKs (all with small differences with regards to fire selector, trigger, etc.).

Version 2 gearboxes have no frame to attach them to the gearbox and are held in the pistol grip. Version 3 gearboxes do have this metal frame.

Version three gearboxes can be handier to work on in the fact that you can test fire the gearbox without having to partially assemble the AEG body like with a version 2.

Edit: Deburca beat me to it, lol.

rite mate moral of this story is you need a VERSION 3 switch for your VERSION 3 gearbox which I think can also be found at M.I.A in the ultimate upgrades section :)

    Linky

But I'm not sure if that comes with wiring or anything so you'll probably have to know how to solder wires and install a trigger assembly. Or you could get one of the airsoft techs here on boards to install it for you.

But to preserve your trigger contacts, you might consider getting a mosfet.

how do you know its the trigger contacts, whats happening?
ive seen 2 different kinds, one is an electrical switch(micro switch) ant the other is the usual male female contact switch. the latter can be cleaned and the electrical i think would need to be replaced.
im not 2 good at the whole linky thing but when i find some ill post them
