Is it possible to get Saorview stations through a free to air satellite box. I have a Televes RSD-7118 box and lidl supplied satellite dish. I found little information of any use on the Saorview web-site. Are the Saorview approved set top boxes not just another name for a similar device?

Saorview is a digital terrestrial service and not satellite. To receive Saorview you require a receiver with a digital terrestrial tuner.

There are combi receivers with both terrestrial and satellite tuners, discussed elsewhere in this forum.

some amount of Saorview threads on Boards these days, maybe it shows just how little info is out there.
