Has anyone taken advantage of deal sites like Groupon while travelling? Could be worth looking into to get discounts at restaurants and stuff.

I'm going to keep an eye on Groupon's foreign websites. In the bargain alerts forum they said Groupon is international, but does anyone know any others?

I'm going to be travelling in Eastern Europe and while I'll be looking at Groupon.pl and Deal24 in the Baltics, I think you have to be careful. All of those sites are in original language obviously, as they are more aimed at locals than tourists. That includes terms and conditions, which always seem to be the most important things to read. Also, how can you be sure that once you've bought your deal you'll be able to use it in the time you are there (from reading about other deals, that often seems to be the problem)
