I apploed for opening ceremony, swimming, gymnastics and a morning athletics session. Nothing out of my account yet and have pretty much given up hope. If i'd realised how little chance i would have had, i would had applied for all sessions rather than just one - at least that way i would have had more of a chance.

I won't lose hope just yet. Going by other forums payments only started coming out of a few peoples accounts in the last couple of days, the majority are still waiting to find out.

They say the majority of payments will be taken by 31st May but the process will continue until June 10th.

My payment was taken today, I applied for 5 events, but I only got 1.

I think there will be a second chance to apply for tickets for events that did not sell out in the first round.

Still nothing for me and given that i only applied for a small amount of sports and only one session of these (except for swimming where i applied for two) i don't expect to get anything. Should have applied for 10 athletic sessions so then at least i would have been in 10 ballots and not just one.

Yep same here.....got two tickets for 90 each. either the tennis final, an athletics night session or boxing finals (mens). Applied for all the big events (£2,700 worth) and got £190 worth.

    when do we find out?

applied for 2 events, 2 tickets at each and my card was charged €50 so it looks like i got one ticket for one event. what a load of ****, i have recieved no confirmation email and cant log into my account, so im not even sure if the charge was for olympic tickets, i could be after getting robbed

People who could afford it applied for thousands worth of tickets and got half of them, i applied for what i could afford.

They should have capped it at 4-6 tickets per household max and then all the applicants would have got something.

I hope the people in charge of tickets are not running the events

Tbh i applied for 5k worth of tickets - all the major finals. I knew that i wouldnt get them all as the demand was crazy plus i only ever have a couple of hundred in my bank account and my visa is a visa debit card so I knew i would never be charged the 5k as i wouldnt have it in my account. Thank God the charge hit my account on pay-day - 3 £99 tickets. Cost 350 euro :D

Yeah I totally didn't realise what a massive demand there'd be so I only applied for the two events I really wanted (gymnastics - women's team and all around finals) . Luckily I got one of those just have to wait to see which!
Was in London yesterday and it was a "big story" about what a bad system the ticketing thing was - 2/3 of people who applied for tickets got none at all!

Got a bunch of money taken on me, but no idea what I've got yet. Seeing as there are still tickets available for some of the sessions I applied for I think I may have got 2 athletics and the ladies boxing - seems like there could be a huge Irish crowd at that one...

You should find out today what you got.

My big dream of going to the gymnastics isn't going to happen as all 3 gymnastics disciplines are sold out :(

Got the BX024 Event Boxing. Its from 4.30-6.00 pm which is very short for STG£85 a ticket and they are the second cheapest tickets out of 5 categories for that event. 3 womens finals on though incl the 60k weight which is Katie Taylor's weight so delighted with that. They must have picked out a load of Irish for that event. Go on Katie.

    See you there Warper. :D

It'll be a bit of a damp squib for us if she doesn't make it, so fingers crossed.

Surprisingly, I didn't get first round badminton or gymnastics, but did get first round men's boxing. I'm glad to get anything, really.

I'm part of a gymnastics club so know a lot of the gym community, only 3 coaches out of however many i know actually got tickets. Really wish I'd got tickets myself but I'm hoping to get tickets for the gymnastics test events that'll be held in January. I'm not sure when the gymnastics events go on sale but I'm keeping an eye on the ticket page. http://fulltwist.net/london-2012-olympics-test-events/
