Anyone here sprain their had or bruised a bone in their hand?
I'm pretty sure I bruised the joint on the thumb of my fretting hand. It happened over a month ago now at this stage and it still hurts to play guitar. This ever happened to anyone?

Just want re assurance that it will go away and go back to normal haha. I heard these things take a long time to heal. Just feels like it wont. :(

No one here is qualified to give you advice in this matter. See a doctor as soon as possible. The longer you leave it, the worse it could get.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar. I wouldn't hold anyone responsible if they said i was grand and it turned out it wasn't haha. I don't think i need a doctor, i can move my thumb every which way, its just when pressure is put on the joint it hurts.

How can you be sure ???

If it still hurts after a month, there's something wrong.

My advice to see a doctor still stands. :)

BTW, if you play through the pain, you'll make matters worse.
