Hey guys. I want to re-install xp on my dell inspiron 6400 laptop and, as usual there's no re-installation cd. (why oh why?) Anyway is there anyway i can like download the re-installation cd from dell using the licence number or something?
Really don't want to have to wait for a cd to be sent to me.

Or is there anything else I can do?

    Tanks guys

The machine probabaly has a recovery partition
there will be a prompt for one of the F keys (F11 , F12 etc) at the bootup
check into this first before you go looking for a disk
